Ateneo Blue Eagles won over De La Salle Green Archers in their first encounter last Sunday. I took some video images but I had difficulty uploading it on youtube because of the default format of the camera I used. Youtube does not upload if it exceeds the limit and I didn’t know how to reformat. I tried uploading it in Google and good enough it was successful. It was this guy who made the difference for FEU in their first game:

For opening games, the FEU Tamaraws won over the Adamson Falcons, 74-71 and it was #14 Knuttel of the Tamaraws that saved the game for them. He fired a fearless three-pointer while down by a point, at the last 16-seconds of the game and gave the Tamaraws 73-71 lead. A free basket by #7 Fernandez that sealed their victory at the last 6-seconds and saved the day for what could have been a huge upset by a rookie team.
In the second game, the UE Red Warriors won convincing over UST Growling Tigers (78-73). The Tigers never grabbed the lead in any quarter and the Warriors appears to be asserting its might this season after falling short of the title last season.

With the University of the Philippines as this season’s host of the UAAP, nothing but a good one was expected, and so it was! From start to finish, the production was flawless and the sequences of the program were fluid. The whole program was well thought of and the effort given evident every second.

The whole program was a huge production number that there was never a boring moment (except for the part where every sport was depicted through dance – I found it somewhat dull somewhere). Read the rest of this entry »
