General Santos City or Gensan is already synonymous to Tuna. In 1988, the City Government conceptualized and created what is now known as the Tuna Festival to enhance its marine industry – it definitely paid off. Celebrated every September and coinciding with the City’s charter day, the Tuna Festival may soon join the ranks of the more popular Festivals in the country.
This is my first year at the Tuna Festival and here’s my share of photos taken during the Streetdance Competition/Parade.
